Gel Chiffonné is a colorless finish base, ready to be tinted
with pigment color of your choice. It's easy to use to create wall finishes, renovate old furniture ("white ceruse" effect), apply to white-painted shutters,
stain wood beams for a French ceiling, etc. For both interior and exterior use.
Adding pigment to Gel Chiffonné
- Place pigment powder (Ocher, Oxides, etc.) in a bowl and add a little water. Mix well to obtain a homogeneous liquid in which all the pigment has been wetted.
- Add the pigment/water mixture to the Gel Chiffonné - mixing very well. Depending on the selected color you will add 20 to 300 grams per five liter bucket of Gel Chiffonné, or up to 60 grams per liter.
The decorative effect will be differ depending on the application tool used: rag, sponge, plastic bag, painting flannel, brush, paint roller or cork.
Coverage for an interior wall:
100 sq ft per liter.
500 sq ft per 5 liter.
