Lime Prep Primer is a lime water based interior/exterior high-bond undercoat. Used as a preperation for lime washes and paints, providing base regulation and an adherence bridge. This product is resistant and without any smell of solvent. May be used on new or old surfaces for residential or commercial decoration.
General: For absorbent surfaces, dilute with 10-15% water. Dilute with 5% water when using over previous paint or other non-absorbent surfaces. On old painted surfaces, remove loose film, sand and fill with appropriate filler. On wood, metal and concrete, use appropriate sealers.
Application: A paddle attachment is recommended for stirring. May be applied with sprayer or brush. Coverage estimates 25/50 sq ft per quart, 100/200 sq ft per gallon. Subsequent coats of lime wash or paint must contain an additional binder in order to ensure adhesion.
Drying Time: 20 minutes to 1 hour; depending upon film thickness
Caution: MAY IRRITATE EYES AND SKIN. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breath fumes. Wear eye protection and protective clothing. Use only with adequate ventilation. First aid treatment: Contains CALCIUM HYDROXIDE (Hydrated Lime). If swallowed call poison center or doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting. If is eyes, rinse for 15 minutes; if on skin rinse well with water; if inhaled move person to fresh air.
