Our Bleached Shellac
comes in a granular
form that is easy
to dissolve. From the wax secreted by the female lac insect,
shellac forms a tough, hard surface that dries quickly and
can be applied in several thin layers. Our shellac is
dewaxed, therefore it must be stored in dry conditions as
moisture will cause it to lump. It mixes easily with
our pigments as a transparent base, perfect to create
