Oil Glaze for Walls and Woodwork

Basic, versatile recipe
Use over casein paints to make more durable and washable
Stain wood any color

Ingredients

1 cup Boiled Linseed Oil
2/3 cup Iso-Pure Safe Solvent, Citrus Solvent or turpentine
2 tblsp Whiting Chalk
1 teaspoon pigment

Mix pigment and whiting with an amount of your solvent to make a smooth paste. In a separate container, mix the remaining solvent with the oil then add the pigment paste. Apply a single coat with a brush. This recipe will cover approximately 50 sq ft.
