Venetian Red has a unique undertone from other red earths that is a pinkish orange. It is a red earth from the Verona region of Italy. Used since antiquity, It is a natural, bright, deep red when saturated, and has a salmony pink color when lightened in white bases. Sought after by artists and restorers alike.
